Apple Adjusts Prices in International App Stores

Earlier reports form today had suggested Apple may be looking to balance the prices across International stores  to better reflect the current value of their currencies.  Apple has now increased App prices in some stores while decreasing prices in others.

9to5Mac has discovered Apple has raised prices. In the example above Angry Birds now costs £.10 more than it used to in the UK store. Australian’s have gotten a break having their prices lowered.


UK: £0.59 -> £0.69

Australia: AU$1.19 -> AU$0.99

Japan: 115 -> 85 Yen

Mexico: $10 -> $12

Switzerland: 1.10Fr -> 1.00Fr
Norway: 6.00Kr -> 7.00Kr
